Bishop Richard “Mr. Clean” White, of Atlanta, GA, is a recording artist and writer of many songs, some being “Its Almost Midnight,” “God is Not Through Blessing You,” “2 Legit 2 Quit,” “And the High Place,” “Come By Here,” “Get the Glory Out of My Life,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Accept What God Allows,” and so many more. In 1997, Bishop Chandler D. Owens appointed Evangelist Richard “Mr. Clean” White as President of the Department of Evangelism Of the Church of God in Christ. Evangelist White continued to seek the Lord in Prayer for direction in leading the department to a “Higher Level of Excellence.” He continued to build on the build on the department through the expansion of the Regional Administration into ten geographical locations across the country. He appointed Regional Presidents to serve as liaisons to the
Jurisdictional Presidents. Through his leadership and vision, he emphasized the importance of “Deliverance, Development, and Demonstration,” which resulted in the new department theme: “It’s All About Souls!” Evangelist White stood on the promise that after a soul has received deliverance through salvation, he or she must be taught and trained for spiritual development to become a strong and natural believer.
Over the past five years, Bishop White has been living the life of a walking miracle: quadruple bypass, gall bladder surgery, and kidney failure. He actually died in the hospital twice, but God rose him up and he is still evangelizing, singing, writing songs, and operating as Senior Pastor of Gospel Temple Church of God In Christ in Atlanta, GA.
He will be ministering at Shiloh Temple Church of God in Christ on Sunday, November 27, 2011, during the 11 AM Worship Service. COME – INVITE YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS AND ALL WHO DESIRE TO COME!
