“When the priest would light that sensor, and they’d start swinging it back and forth, everybody in all parts of the temple knew that they were getting ready to praise God. Then they knew that the high priest was getting ready to go into the holiest of holies… and they knew when the high priest [took] that sacrifice, [and] once it was received by God, they knew that the Shekinah Glory was going to rise above the middle wall of petition and they would see the essence of the glory of God fill the house. The glory of God would shine into the windows of the temple. The glory of God would be seen out in the valleys. It could be seen down the sides of the road that came down in to Jerusalem.
“And if we would praise God in [the house of the Lord] – somebody outside [may see and] know that God is in here with us. And what better place to be than in the presence of the Lord? I don’t any better place to be than in the presence of the Lord… [So, always remember], your praise is invaluable. Whatever you do, don’t ever withhold your praise unto God. No matter what you’re going through, don’t ever withhold your praise from God.”
