I have noticed that there is a word that is going out all over America. That message is “repent and return to God with our whole hearts and our whole souls.” There are Bible teachers and preachers who have gained a reputation for giving a “watered down” version of God’s Word. Even these men and women of God have begun to proclaim this Word across the Nation. We would be wise to heed their words.

For the next couple of days, we will be focusing on the following verses from the book of James:

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Some of us will find, during our Christian journey, that we have strayed from the narrow path. The purpose of this Bible Study is to give instruction on how to return to that path of righteousness, and how to return with our whole heart.

Follow along and share this with others. You may not have strayed away from God, but someone else in your life has strayed. Don’t be so selfish as to go to Heaven and help anyone else to get there.

Continue to pray for us and we will continue to pray for you.
